This is a sizing guide for the JK3D Moto Fork Adjustment Tool
Because there are dozens of different brands, designs, sizes of forks and cartridges out on the market for all kinds of motorsports, here is a small sizing guide to help figure out the right fork tool for your ride! (Don’t see one listed that fits yours?? Email me @ requests@JK3D.us and I’ll work with you to see if we can design one that works!)
Tools Required:
- Calipers or a Ruler
- Hex Wrench that fits the valving on the fork.
Measuring a size for a Fork/Cartridge that has a flat blade valving adjustment:
Use a calipers to measure the preload hex, Diameter of the valving adjustment/Clicker, and the width of the flat blade gap.
Optionally you can also measure the combined height of the preload hex and the clicker/valve adjustment. (It should be under 9mm, if it is more, please reach out to me at the email address above and I can tweak a design for you)
Measuring a size for a Fork/Cartridge that has a small hex wrench valving adjustment:
Use a calipers to measure the preload hex, and find the hex wrench included or use a multi hex wrench tool to find the right size for the valving on your suspension.
